The war in Ukraine continues to paint a heartbreaking picture, with countless families displaced, in need of essential supplies, and facing an uncertain future. But amidst the darkness, the glimmer of humanity shines through the work of our custodian, Mike Shapovalov. 
His work with Samaritan Christian Mission is sending humanitarian aid to those in need. He is constantly working with our community and other organizations like Take Away Hunger to fill up and sending containers to Ukraine to help the war-stricken people with basic needs such as food, clothing, and medical assistance products. These products are sent directly into the hot zones where people are most impacted by the destruction and horrors of war, where people are lacking basic necessities such as heat, power, hygiene, and overall well-being.
