Children and families invited to Bluffton University K-5 literacy event

BLUFFTON, Ohio— Bluffton University’s Education Department and The Lion and Lamb Peace Arts Center are co-hosting a fun and free event to promote literacy to kindergarten through fifth grade children and their parents.

Dive in and get excited about reading. Browse The Lion and Lamb literature and art collection. Children receive a free book.

“Dive Into Reading” will be held from 1-3 p.m. on President’s Day, Monday, Feb. 19, at The Lion and Lamb Peace Arts Center. The facility is located on the lower level of Bluffton University’s Riley Court.

During the event, participating students will explore various literacy centers and earn prizes. They’ll also receive a free book based on their grade level and have the opportunity to browse the Lion and Lamb’s art and literature collection.
