MEA manages congregational giving for higher education. Congregational giving is a system that disperses financial gifts from congregations to the Mennonite higher education institutions. Congregations have the option of designating gifts for specific
institutions or sending one congregational check to be divided among the
schools, thus easing congregational decision-making regarding which specific school(s) to support.
Based on an agreed upon formula the monies are then divided and distributed to the institutions. MEA ensures the monies are distributed and tracks the total contributions.
