Eastern Mennonite Seminary offers summer workshops for congregational leaders

The Shalom Collaboratory at Eastern Mennonite Seminary opens spaces for pastors, lay leaders, nonprofit and community partners, parents and caregivers to learn and experiment with practices to build peace for restored relationships.

As part of an ongoing collaboration with the Center for Justice and Peacebuilding, we will facilitate a series of half- and full-day trainings for pastoral and lay leaders during the 2024 Summer Peacebuilding Institute. Register now for the following upcoming sessions:

  • May 22: Becoming Resilient Leaders with Trauma-Aware Practices
    a half-day workshop facilitated in a hybrid on-campus/online format
  • May 22: Healing Harm and Repairing Relationships within Churches and Beyond
    a half-day workshop facilitated in a hybrid on-campus/online format
  • June 13: Navigating Tough Conversations with Adaptive Leadership Skills
    a full-day clinic facilitated on-campus in Harrisonburg, VA
