Mennonite Education Agency Executive Director Search

(Mennonite Education Agency) - The Mennonite Education Agency (MEA) Executive Director search has been underway with the search committee meeting regularly since the beginning of January.  Through a constituent survey and personal contacts, the search committee has received valuable feedback on qualities needed in an Executive Director, as well as nominations for committee consideration.

Committee members have contacted numerous potential candidates encouraged them to apply for the position. Several persons have submitted application materials, and applications are invited through March 31, 2021.

Search Committee members are Addie Banks, New York City; Jon Carlson, Lancaster, PA; Marco Güete, Sarasota, FL; Glen Guyton, San Antonio, TX; Lisa Heinz, Elkhart, IN; Dr. Joseph Manickam, Hesston, KS; Carol Roth, Clinton, MS; Dr. Conrad Swartzentruber, Lansdale, PA; Dick Thomas, Lancaster, PA (Chair); and Jolene VonGunten, Goshen, IN, who is the staff resource person for the committee.

The committee is asking members of Mennonite Church USA and other interested persons to join in prayer for the potential candidates and for wisdom and direction for the committee discernment.
