The seventh and eighth grade unit, Anabaptist History, introduces students to Anabaptist history and theology by reviewing the movement from its roots in early Christendom and the reformation, through the 16th-century persecution, to North America and around the world. Students bring historical events and persons into conversation with contemporary issues and individuals. By building a timeline through the course of the sixteen lessons, students get a clear grasp of the history that has brought the Anabaptist community to its present diverse and international composition.
