MEA and MSC held two symposiums about Mennonite education in 2009. Persons presented papers on education-related topics then table group discussions followed. The information gathered at these symposiums is being used to update the book published in 1971, Mennonite education: why and how? A philosophy of education for the Mennonite Church. John D. Roth, professor at Goshen College and well-known author and speaker is writing the new book. |

Participants at the symposiums included persons from MSC schools, Mennonite higher education institutions, conferences, congregations, denominational agencies and others interested in Mennonite education. MEA is currently in the process of adding the presentations to the Web site in both written and audio format. |
