Mennonite Church Canada and Mennonite Church USA collaborate with Mennonite colleges, universities and seminaries in the Faculty Calling Project.
Because the health of the denominations is related to the health of its educational institutions, we encourage and promote teaching in Mennonite higher education institutions as a Christian calling for trained and committed scholars/teachers.
The Faculty Calling Project invites pastors, professors and other church leaders to join us as talent scouts. Upon receiving nominations and applications, we will strengthen our database of potential candidates who possess both scholarship skills and dedication to the church. This database, accessible by password only, is shared with college, university and seminary Deans.
The Mennonite institutions listed below have about 420 full-time faculty members. Each year these institutions need to find about 30 new faculty members. Intent on building quality, these institutions work together with denominational education leadership to enlarge the pool of qualified and available candidates.
If you know of a possible candidate, please share this website with that person. You or the candidate should complete the response form on line at the link below. The candidate can expect a contact. If your interest is personal, it is appropriate to complete the response form to share your own interest.
Thank you for participating in this effort to strengthen the church by strengthening its educational institutions.
