Today has been designated Children's Day by the World Organization for the Education of Young Children. We are reminded to honor all children and to promote a better understanding of their needs and rights as human beings. Pray that all children may be welcomed into the world of learning. May every child grow in knowledge and character from their very first years as Jesus did blessed by God and people.
Goshen (Ind.) College

Pray for the Goshen College cross country team as they travel and participate in NAIA Championships this weekend in Vancouver, Wash. This year’s team of 18 men and 18 women includes a dozen seniors, among them brothers Ben and Nick Bouwman.

Pray for the board and council of Warwick River Christian School as they begin a time of evaluation and strategic planning related to their leadership needs and enrollment and economic forecasts. Administrator Greg Sommers has announced his resignation, effective August 1, 2010.
Hesston (Kan.) College

Ask God to bless the Thanksgiving Weekend activities November 26-28 on the Hesston College campus. Events include a Choral Masterworks Concert, a music review show, a music department concert, a basketball classic, and an annual two-mile run/walk. The weekend is part of the college's 2009-2010 Centennial Celebration. Pray that the weekend will be meaningful for all, especially prospective students and alumni.

High school students from around the country are visiting Hesston College this weekend (Prospective Student Visit Days) to consider what the college has to offer in academics, spiritual growth, and social interaction in a Christian community. Some of these students are volleyball recruits, or will audition for music and theatre scholarships. Ask God to direct their contacts with students, faculty, and staff, and to give these prospective students direction for their lives.
